Slipping off a pretty perch,
Soaring across and through
The darker down.
Below the oblivious trees,
Among the wilder flowers,
The earth absorbing anomalies.
The scent of cruel humans rising,
Building up their wayward wars,
Driving home their hate.
There’s only one heart here
Scattered in billions of pieces,
Everybody holding one litte bit of bittersweet.
I have a wholesome part of that heart,…
Fly me away,
Pass me the goodbye.
Glide me gone,
Widen the wings of willpower.
Carry me home,
Bring up the beyond.
…, and I won’t ever want to land in this place.
