The Thunder and the Lightning

How I used to love the thunder and the lightning
The thunder echoed my soul
The lightning reflected my spirit
So far from me, I longed and lusted, forlorn me

How the thunder and the lightning used to love me
The thunder embraced my soul
The lightning kissed my spirit
So near to me, I longed and lusted, forsworn me

How I used the thunder and the lightning to hate
The thunder exiled my soul
The lightning extinguished my spirit
So far from me, I longed and lusted, forsaken me

How I love the thunder and the lightning
The thunder, our soul
The lightning, our spirit
Forgive me
